Katerina Grigoropoulos, DPM, DABPM is a Chicago native who earned her B.S. degree in Biology and minor in Psychology in 2012 from Loyola University Chicago.
During her second year at Scholl, Katerina was the only podiatry student selected for the Rosalind Franklin Fellowship Scholarship. Through this scholarship, she founded “Sole Fit” - an organization that educates elementary school students about podiatric care and provides new shoes to underprivileged children in need.
Sole Fit has helped hundreds of children in the past and is in the process of expanding nationally to all the podiatric medical schools with goals to become the first philanthropic, podiatric organization that unites the profession.

In addition, Katerina is the host of "Pod Talk" an independent, podiatry themed podcast. She is the Etsy shop owner of "MediThings", an online shop that sells medical themed enamel pins and stickers. Katerina completed a year-long improv comedy program in 2023 and graduated from the Conservatory Program at The Second City in Chicago in 2025.
Dr. Grigoropoulos completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center/ Hines VA in Illinois. She pursued a fellowship in diabetic limb salvage and wound care at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Katerina joined Weil Foot and Ankle in 2021. She serves as an active member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and contributes to multiple committees within the organization.
